History

Unique Systems, Inc. was founded in 1973 by Mr. Olof Eriksen and soon became a leader in the manufacturing and duplication of parts and assemblies for rotating equipment, turbines, compressors and more. Providing high quality and value to its customers was Mr. Eriksen's supreme goal and is one that he can say has been proudly achieved.

"There are no repair shops at 40,000 feet!"

Olof Eriksen grew up with rotating equipment. He knows better than most that there is no room for error in this business. His philosophy that "there are no repair shops at 40,000 feet!" illustrates his regard for quality as well as the seriousness with which he runs his business.

Before founding Unique Systems, Olof Eriksen devoted more than 7 years manufacturing flying hardware and working extensively with jet engines such as:

  • The fan section of the Pratt & Whitney JT-9 which powers the Boeing 747
  • The Pratt & Whitney JT-3 engine which powers the Boeing 707
  • General Electric engines including, but not limited to:
  • The CE-9
  • The CE-4
  • The T-64 helicopter engine

In addition, Mr. Eriksen worked with Westinghouse and G.E. stationary rotating equipment and was personally involved with Elliot equipment for 28 years.
